Pottery Event FAQs
Can we bring our own food and drinks (BYO)?
Yes! Our studios are 100% BYO for both food and drinks. Feel free to bring your favorite bubbly, wine, beers, and party snacks. You can also order discounted grazing boards from our catering partner!
Do we need any prior pottery experience?
Not at all! All our private pottery event sessions are 100% beginner-friendly. Our expert instructors and hosts will guide your group step-by-step through wheel throwing, handbuilding, or a mix of both. No skills are required, just bring your enthusiasm!
Where are the ClayGround studio locations?
We have two premier locations in Sydney: Brookvale (Northern Beaches) at 11 Mitchell Rd, Brookvale NSW 2100, and Rosebery (Inner South) at 601 Botany Rd, Rosebery NSW 2018.
How long does firing take, and how do we pick up our finished pieces?
Our firing and glazing turnaround is 5–6 weeks for our handbuilding & wheel throwing events options, and 2-3 weeks for our painting event options. We carefully dry, professionally glaze, and kiln-fire your pieces. As soon as they are ready, you will receive an automated notification email letting you know they are ready for pickup from your studio location!
