Cancellations & Refunds

Classes

a) To cancel and receive a full refund, you must notify info@clayground.com.au at least 48 hours prior to the lesson. Within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows.

b) If you wish to reschedule within the 48 hours of the scheduled lesson, you will be charged a 30% late rescheduling fee based on your class price.

Courses & Workshops

b) Within 48 hours of the scheduled lesson, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows. If you wish to reschedule within the 48 hours of the scheduled session, you will be charged a 30% late rescheduling fee based on your course or workshop price.

c) Makeup sessions are NOT available. You must be able to make all dates.

Privates & Events

a) To cancel and receive a full refund, a customer must notify events@clayground.com.au at least 2 weeks prior to the event. Within 2 weeks of the scheduled event, there will be no refunds for cancellations or no-shows on the day.

b) A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to reschedule your event or change final booking numbers. If you wish to reschedule within the 48 hours of the scheduled session, you will be charged a 30% late rescheduling fee based on your session price.

c) If there is still a balance owing for your event, it will be settled 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.

d) Please note only guests that have been booked in for the event are allowed to be in the studio while the session is running.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years after purchase. They are not refundable.

All gift vouchers are only valid in our ClayGround studio in Rosebery.

Memberships

3. REFUND POLICY

3.1 Subscriptions Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3.2 It is the responsibility of the member to cancel their membership. Non-attendance does not warrant a refund on membership payments. Memberships will not automatically cancel due to non-attendance.

3.3 ClayGround has 14 days to complete approved refunds. The refund will be provided using your original payment method.

4. TERMINATION OF MEMBERSHIP

4.1 Cancelling a Weekly Agreement After the Minimum Term (2 weeks): A written notice to members@clayground.com.au is required to cancel your membership. You will be charged for one last scheduled billing cycle and your membership will terminate 14 days after your last payment.

4.2 Cancelling an Upfront Yearly Agreement After the Minimum Term (1 year): A written notice to members@clayground.com.au is required to cancel your membership. A minimum of 2 weeks notice before your next billing date is required to terminate your membership.

4.3 Cancellation requests must be submitted via email in writing. Once you have submitted your cancellation request, you will receive an email notification that it has been accepted. If you do not receive this request within 7 days of your cancellation request please contact us. Any membership payments during this notice period are non-refundable.

4.4 It is the responsibility of the member to cancel their membership. Non-attendance does not warrant a refund on membership payments. Memberships will not automatically cancel due to non-attendance.

4.5 Cooling Off: You can cancel your membership with us up to 3 days from the start date by giving us written notice and completing the cancellation form. This is only applicable to new membership agreements.

No shows, Collections and Make-up sessions

Late arrivals

If a student arrives over 30 minutes late to their scheduled class, the teacher is able to refuse entry with no rescheduling or refund possible.

Late piece collection

If a student does not collect their work within 3 months of their scheduled class or workshop, the studio holds no responsibility for thier work and may dispose or use it at our dicretions.

Make-up Workshop session

You must be able to make all dates. We're not able to do make-up sessions if you can't make a date.

Studio Membership T&C

Freezing Your Membership

FREEZING MEMBERSHIPS

a) Members can freeze their membership at any date during their membership. 

b) A freeze request is required in writing via email to members@clayground.com.au, which should include  your preferred start and end date. 

c) 7 days’ notice is required to process your pause request. If you have a membership payment scheduled during this notice period – the payment will be processed and cannot be reversed. Days that have been paid for will be made available for use at the end of the pause. 

d) The minimum pausing period is 1 week and you can pause for a maximum of 4 weeks in a 12 month period.

Members personal belongings & materials

STORAGE & PERSONAL BELONGS

a) ClayGround is not liable to you for any personal property that is damaged, lost, or stolen while on or around the studio including, but not limited to, any property left in a locker or cubbies.

b) Bags are not permitted in the studio workshop area and must be placed in the lockers provided. We can store valuable items for you at reception if requested and will take all possible care but cannot accept liability for these goods.

c) Any unlabelled work or personal belongings left unclaimed in any communal spaces may be disposed of at our discretion to avoid congestion of communal areas. 

Absent Members

a) It is the responsibility of the member to cancel their membership. Non-attendance does not warrant a refund on membership payments. Memberships will not automatically cancel due to non-attendance.

b) ClayGround reserves the right to clear any member's shelf that has been absent from the studio for over 6 months, and place their belongings in storage until they return.
