Kids Pottery Class - After School ClayTime
Looking for a creative and fun, hands-on after-school activity for term 4?
Learn Wheel & Hand-Building
Fun & Inclusive
Perfect For Ages 8+
ClayGround’s 9-Week After-School ClayTime course offers young artists aged 8+ a hands-on, digital-free sanctuary to get messy and master real ceramic art. Taught in our bright, welcoming studio in Brookvale (Northern Beaches), this beginner-friendly course combines the magic of hand-building, wheel throwing and glazing.
Guided by our passionate, Working With Children Check (WWCC) certified instructors, students explore foundational pottery techniques step-by-step. During the first four weeks, kids learn pinch, coil, and slab techniques to build functional, custom items like mugs, trinket dishes, and sculptural pieces. Then, they take a spin on the potter's wheel—with a dedicated wheel for every student—shaping functional bowls and cups with hands-on support.
