Matcha Bowl Making w/ Kuan Chen

Matcha Making on the Wheel.

We’re teaming up with ceramicist and matcha connoisseur Kuan Chen (founder of Kaleidoscope) to bring you a unique pottery experience that blends the art of wheel throwing with the mindful ritual of matcha.

In this 2-hour exclusive workshop, you’ll learn how to throw your very own Chawan (matcha bowl) on the wheel, as well as experience a matcha tasting and making demo guided by Kuan himself.

You'll get hands-on with clay and deepen your appreciation for tea culture — all in one session.

Who Can Join:

• This class is beginner-friendly, and no experience is needed.
• This class open to all ages (participants under 16 must be accompanied by a paying adult).

Note: Firing & Glazing takes roughly 4-5 weeks. We will then email you when they are ready for collection. If you do not return to pick up your pottery within a month of the pickup date, we'll donate it to those in need in our community.
