Come join up this spring for our NEW Saké set throwing class starting Sunday the 20th of September and running weekly every Sunday from 1-3pm!
Unleash your inner Saké enthusiast and join us for a 2 hour Wheel throwing class, where you will learn the ancient Japanese ceramic technique of throwing 'off the hump' (have a google!) to make a truly unique Saké bottle and 2 small Saké cups.
Once your Saké set has been made it will need time to dry out completely. We will then fire your pieces and email you (roughly 3 weeks), , so you can either come back to the studio to glaze your Saké set (included in price). Otherwise, we can apply our BONDI CLAY white glaze. then fire your pottery a second time and you'll have a beautiful handmade Saké set to collect.
Anyone aged 7 & over is welcome to join, but anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.
