If you love the idea of doing something new and creative, or thinking about getting a membership with us but need a refresher, then this is the workshop for you!
Over 4 weeks, you’ll be guided by our experienced teachers, giving you all the tricks and skills needed to become a capable thrower. You’ll get to learn the basics on how to throw simple shapes such as cylinders (cups and mugs), bowls and vases. you’ll learn how to trim and shape your pots (extremely satisfying) and then learn how to glaze and decorate your work using ClayGround’s broad palette of glazes.
While throwing clay requires attention and practice, we know that at the end of this workshop you’ll be able to take home a piece of work that you’ll be proud of!
ClayGround provides you with everything you’ll need, from clay, equipment, tools and glazes. The workshops are also small and intimate to maximise your experience.
Anyone aged 8 & over is welcome to join, but anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.
No experience needed!
